Hi I’m Andy the Founder and Editor of Underrated Guide Media.

The idea for the Underrated Guide was a vision of mine that started in Rochester, New York, in 2023.

I grew up in Los Angeles, so living in an underrated midsized city was never something I fathomed would happen in my life. In a way, it was fate that brought me to Rochester, but it is the arts, culture, music, and astounding food scene that keeps me here.

I founded Underrated Guide Media because I believe is important to encourage reading and writing, traveling to new places, sharing cultural experiences, supporting live music, exploring more, supporting small businesses, and sharing the uniqueness of hip, underrated cities.
